Manufactured from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polytex® shade sail fabric is produced by knitting the monofilament and tape together using “Raschel Knit” (lock stitch) construction. This ensures the fabric will not tear or fray if cut or pierced by sharp objects. This high quality fabric has a UVA and UVB protection greater than 95% and high strength to weight ratio. With its UV performance and fire rating, Polytex is ideal for small scale architectural shade sails and various shade structures. This fabric will provide great sun protection from sun rays as well as offer hours of relaxation.
